All through school, I was that kid that was always doodling in the margins of the papers instead of paying attention to what the teacher had to say. This might have been tragic had I wanted to grow up to be a doctor or an engineer. Happily, what I grew up wanting to do was write stories and draw pictures. My parents held little hope that gainful employment was on my horizon.
